Jacksons Auction & Real Estate Company: We are family owned and operated auction and real estate company. We have worked together in the auction business for the past 25 years. Our auctioneers have over a hundred years of experience in the auction industry. To better serve our customers, we have focused on Indiana Art, Real Estate, Coin, Antique, Surplus and Online Auctions. We have seen the evolution of the Real Estate Market and truly believe that the Auction Method of Marketing for Real Estate has many benefits to the sellers and the buyers. We strive to provide you with honest and professional service.

Dennis R. Jackson, CAI/CES/AARE

Dennis has been an Auctioneer for over forty years. He started his own auction company in 1978 with the support and assistance of his family. Dennis and his wife Sheila have two children, Bryan and Michele, and nine grandchildren. The following are some highlights of Dennis' auction career and education:

  • 1968: Graduated from Anderson Univ. BA in Business
  • 1968-1978: Public School Teacher in Business and Special Ed.
  • 1970: Graduated from Nashville Auction School, 1971 Received Auctioneer's License
  • 1973: Received Master's Degree in Education & Business from Ball State University.
  • 1975: Passed Indiana State Test, Received Real Estate Broker's License
  • 1975 to present: Instructor for continuing education courses for auctioneers and realtors. Instructor for Indiana, Michigan and Kentucky State Auctioneer Assoc. and Commissions, The National Auctioneer's Association at Seminars, Conventions, and for Continuing Education Credits.
  • 1978-present: Owns and operates Jacksons Auction Company, Anderson, IN.
  • 1985: Received CAI Designation from the Auction Marketing Institute at Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana (Auctioneer Certification)
  • 1988: Voted The Bid Calling Champion of The Indiana Auctioneer's Association
  • 1990: Formed Fine Arts Auction Company, Jackson & Wickliff Auctioneers, Inc. Carmel, IN. Dennis Jackson, CAI/AARE Vice President and Senior Auctioneer.
  • 1992: President of Indiana Auctioneer's Association, largest state association of auctioneers.
  • 1992: Bid Calling Finalist at the National Auctioneers' Convention in Omaha, Neb.
  • 1993: Received the AARE Designation from the Auction Marketing Institute at Indiana University, Bloomington, IN. (Only 175 Auctioneers have both the CAI and AARE Designations in the USA)
  • 1994: Selected to the National Auction Marketing Institute's Board of Governors
  • 1997: Inducted into The Indiana Auctioneer's Association's "Hall of Fame" The Most Distinguished State Award in Indiana.
  • 2002: SOLD 1 MILLION DOLLAR Real Estate Multi-parcel Auction of investment and residential properties in Madison County, Indiana.
  • 2004: SOLD T. C. Steele for Auction World Record Price of $220,000.00, also established 10 other new Auction Records at same auction.
  • 2005: Left Jackson & Wickliff Auctioneers, Carmel, Indiana and created family owned Jacksons Auction & Real Estate Company with his children.
  • 2008-2011: Elected and served as a Director of the National Auctioneers' Association.

Bryan P. Jackson, CAI/CES

Bryan has been an auctioneer for twenty years. He graduated from Madison Heights High School in 1991 in the top 5 of his class. He graduated from the Missouri Auction School in 1991 and passed the Indiana Auctioneers Test that same year, receiving his auction license. Bryan graduated with a BA in Psychology from Anderson University in 1996 and went into the U.S. Army, where he worked in the Mental Health field. After serving in Iraq (2004-2005), Bryan returned and entered into the auction business with his father, Dennis Jackson, and his sister, Michele Jackson. Bryan received his CES designation in 2006 and graduated from the Certified Auctioneers Institute in March 2008. Bryan has been involved with the auction business his entire life and enjoys the fast pace and competitive bidding aspects of the business. Bryan enjoys spending time with his wife Karry and their six children: Kaylee, Kiawna, Alec, Isaiah, Trenton and Sydney.

Michele L. Jackson, JD, CAI

Michele has been an attorney since 2000 and graduated from Reppert's School of Auctioneering in 2006. She passed her Indiana State Auctioneer's Test in May of 2006 and received her license. Michele graduated in the top 5 from her high school in 1993 and then graduated from Anderson University with Honor in 1997 with a BA in Political Science and History. She graduated from Indiana University School of Law in 2000 and practices law in the area of international and domestic adoptions and previously taught at Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis. Michele has been in the auction business her entire life and enjoys educating herself about fine arts and auction marketing.
